Profesní životopis ředitele školy
PaedDr. Jan Svoboda (1955)
Vystudoval Pedagogickou fakultu UK na katedře výtvarné výchovy u doc. Z. Sýkory. Postupně zaměstnán jako učitel VV na ZŠ, krajský metodik VV, odborný asistent katedry VV Pedagogické fakulty UK v Praze (přednášel a vedl semináře malby a art terapie), nyní jako ředitel ZUŠ v Bechyni. V roce 1990 získal doktorský titul. V roce 1995 založil OS Klášter pracující při ZUŠ v Bechyni, která se v roce 1998 stala zakládajícím členem nadnárodní organizace E-SPACE. Od roku 1997 je předsedou Asociace výtvarných pedagogů a od roku 2001 členem nejrůznějších odborných komisí MŠMT ČR a MK ČR. Od roku 1979 se věnuje samostatné výtvarné práci.

Od roku 1999 se společně svou ženou věnuje vytváření koncepcí a realizací dětských doprovodných programů a expozice pro děti k výstavám (např. Pražské quadriennale, Deset století architektury, Příběh Pražského hradu…).

He studied at the Faculty of Education at the Charles University in Prague, department of art at college lecturer Sykora. Gradually, he worked as an art master in an elementary school, regional Methodist of art, lecturer of department of art at Faculty of Education at the Charles University in Prague (he lectured and ran a course of painting and art therapy). Nowadays he is a schoolmaster of an elementary art school in Bechyně. In 1990 he obtained a title of the doctor. In 1995 he founded Civic Association Klášter working beside the elementary art school in Bechyně, which became in 1998 a founding member of a multi national organisation E-SPACE. Since 1997 he is a chairman of the Association of art masters and since 2001 is a member of a committee of MŠMT ČR and MK ČR. He has also addicted himself to an independent art work since 1979.
